Hello everyone and welcome to the bloomtrigger 'pilot' project.
This is where we are pioneering a new, creative model of online fundraising to help tackle the issue of global deforestation and climate change. The pilot project is beginning in 5 primary schools, aiming to raise £5000, planting 200,000 blooms which will help to protect 50 hectares of rainforest in the Peruvian Amazon.
The purpose of this pilot project is to demonstrate how bloomtrigger can enable individuals, businesses and primary school children to work together on a local community level to help influence this critical issue facing the world today. Once the pilot for bloomtrigger is successful, then we can start to scale up our model to enable more people from across the UK and the world to help protect rainforest in this simple, affordable and creative way.
Ultimately our aim is to help protect 1 million hectares of rainforest, but first we need to prove that this new model can work and we need your help to do this. Please take a moment to sign up and become a part of the bloomtrigger project from the very beginning. Get involved!
