* What inspires you?
People who follow their passion. Observing the beauty of nature.
* What makes you angry?
If people act without caring about the influence on others.
* What is your personal mission?
Support local communities so they can keep protecting their rainforest for them and for us. Education is a vital part of that. Also I have recently been getting involved with bamboo which has a lot of potential in many ways which I am exploring.
* If you were Prime Minister, what would be the first thing you’d change?
Mhh…no idea. Not sure how much politics can actually change these days. I prefer action than talking.
* Why did you agree to become a bloomtrigger Ambassador?
Because I love the concept of combining protecting the rainforest and education. Kids are our future.
* Can you describe a typical workday?
I get up at 6:30 have porridge for breakfast and make my way to the school in a public jeep taxi. There I spend the mornings learning about building with bamboo alongside the apprentices, who are young boys from Colombian refugee families. I learn from them, they learn from me and we have lots of fun together. After we have lunch I make my way back to the house where is also the office of the organisation. There I work the afternoon, designing, drawing and doing other things that are required. After a cooked dinner I work on my own ideas in the evenings and watch documentaries or talks online. Bedtime between ten and twelve if possible.
* How do you define success?
If you find your passion and make it your job.
* What’s the best advice anyone’s ever given you?
Value small things.
* What’s your favourite book or film of late?
Avatar (its pretty Hollywood but I still love it)
* What would you most like to happen to protect the planet?
Change of our economy based on constant growth.
